Our socks are designed by our team in Galway - Ireland and then manufactured at a family-run factory in Portugal, who are experts at achieving our more complex weaves and designs.

Our socks are made with organic cotton. It has many advantages, such as its ability to control moisture, insulate, provide comfort and it is also hypoallergenic, and is a durable fabric. The heel, toe and sole are reinforced with a soft but exceptionally strong, man-made fibre called Nylon. Finally, elastane is used to create a strong hold around the band of the sock, creating the perfect fit around your feet.

Composition : 75% Combed Cotton, 23% Nylon and 2% Elastane

We are proud to operate within the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres and it defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

Holyhoses socks are made with high quality materials and manufactured to last. How you wash and care for your socks also has an impact on how long they last, so we recommend washing your socks inside out at a temperature not higher than 30°C. This protects the fabric and reduces fading. We also advise against tumble drying, dry cleaning and ironing in order to avoid fibre degradation and reduce energy consumption.

You will receive them wrapped in our branded cardboard wrap bands and packed in one of our Holyhoses envelopes that fit through the letterbox. Our wrap bands are eco friendly and really easy to unpack, you won't need any scissors!

Our socks are unisex and we are aiming for as universal sizes as possible.

The socks come in two sizes 4-7 (36-41) and 7-11 (41-46).
